Using BlogRush

Blogrush is a new way to promote your blog and now you can using blogrush services in blogmas.com. For more infomation and sign up, please go to http://www.blogrush.com.

Tousing blogrush widget, jus go to Presentation –> Widget.

Drag widget name “Blogrush” to your sidebar. Click edit button and enter your blogrush code.

To get your blogrush code, login to your blogrush account, and see your blogrush code. See example below.

So your blogrush code is 123456 and put that number into your blogrush widget.

Change K2 Header Image

You can change k2 header image easily actually. Here are the tutorial.

  1. First, if you never upload any images to your blog, please go to “Write” write_01.jpg
    and scroll down until you see upload section. Please upload your images there.upload_01.jpg
  2. After finish uploading your image, go to “Presentation” > “K2 Custom Header”. And the upload your own K2 header image. After that click “Update Option ” button.k2_header.jpg
  3. After that scroll down until you see “Manage Picture” section. Please choose the images that you upload in previous step. After that don’t forget click “Update Option ” button.

Change Your Header Images for Kubrick/default Themes

Maybe you dislike your theme header images and want to change it to something look cools. So here the tutorial. This tutorial for kubrick/default themes only. I’m not sure if it’s work with other themes. Try by yourself.

  1. Create your own header images. Your header images size must 760×200. You can download the sample here.
  2. After finish creating the header, please upload it to blogmas. login tu blogmas and go to “Write” panel.

  3. Scroll down until you see upload section. Please use this to upload your picture. See example below.

  4. After that go “Manage” > “Uploads”. and then klik on the images that you already upload. See picture below.upload_02.jpg
  5. You will get page like picture below. Copy the header link.upload_03.jpg
  6. After you get the link, go to “Presentation” > “Themes Costumizer”. Find “#header: background” and replace the link inside the box with your own header images link. See picture below.upload_04.jpg
  7. Lastly don’t forget to click “Update Option” button. Walla…now you header will change. See your self.

Add Text, Shoubox and Anything Else in your Sidebar

Many blogger in blogmas still new in using wordpress so most of the don’t know how to adding shoutbox and anything else they need to sidebar. This tutorial will teach you how to adding and editing your item in sidebar.

  1. Go to “Presentation” > “Sidebar Widget”.

  2. Scroll down until you see box names “Available Widgets”. See picture below.sidebar_02.jpg
  3. Click on “Text 1″ box and move it to sidebar 1. See picture below.sidebar_03.jpg
    After you move “Text 1″ box, your sidebar 1 will look like this

  4. The next step please see picture below.

    and after you click that button, a new box will popup. Please insert you code the or you can write anything you want. See picture below.

  5. After everything is done, please don’t forget to click “Save Changes” button.
  6. One text widget not enough? You can add it more in “Text Widget” section. See picture below.sidebar_09.jpg
  7. Now in my sidebar you can see shoutbox from shoumix. See it in action.sidebar_08.jpg
  8. But hey shah, where my other item in sidebar? Erm…actually you can add or remove it using widget. See picture below. You can add them by move it to sidebar 1.
